At approximately 12:20 Wednesday morning, a 28 year-old female was found unresponsive during a wellbeing check at the Otter Tail County Jail.
Life Saving efforts were performed by corrections staff, law enforcement and Ringdahl ambulance staff.
Despite efforts, the female was declared deceased.
The party was transported to Lake Region Hospital morgue for an autopsy.
The incident remains under investigation.
