Nevis, MN – At around 2:25 on Friday afternoon (May 24th), the Minnesota State Patrol responded to a single vehicle accident at the intersection of Highway 34 and Edgemont Road, between Park Rapids and Nevis.
According to the State Report, 56-year-old Robert Rautio of New York Mills was travelling east on Highway 34, when he had a medical incident, leading him to crash his vehicle in the ditch and roll.
He was transported to Park Rapids Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
State Troopers were assisted by the Hubbard County Sheriff’s Office.
