(MNN) — Minnesota National Guard soldiers are part of the massive deployment of troops called to Washington D-C this weekend.
The mobilization is reportedly part of a security effort surrounding this week’s presidential inauguration.
The Minnesota National Guard is sending over 850 of its members to D-C, part of a force of more than 25-thousand troops from National Guard units around the country.
