While the details are limited, the Grant County Sherriff’s Office said that on Tuesday, February 16, due to a specific/credible threat to Social Service Staff and Grant County Law Enforcement, authorities decided to evacuate the Courthouse and the Grant County Office Building as an order of precaution.
There was no threat to the public.
The individual responsible for the threats was apprehended in Douglas County.
