Moorhead Man Hospitalized After Accidental Shooting

(Moorhead, MN) — An accidental shooting that sent a Moorhead man to the hospital Friday afternoon is still under investigation.

Officers say the man was shot in the lower abdomen with a small-caliber rifle and at least one person fled the scene.

The victim was taken to a Fargo hospital. Students at a nearby elementary school were dismissed.
