The Fergus Falls Area Habitat for Humanity is celebrating its 30th Anniversary on Tuesday, September 14th at Calvary Free Lutheran Church in Fergus Falls.

Paul Shol with Habitat for Humanity says that this is, “Our way of saying thank you for over these last 30 years, for all the great support we find from the communities here in Fergus Falls and around the area.”

The community is invited to stop by anytime between 4:30p and 6:30p to tour two Habitat homes and meet the homeowners. One is in the process of being built and the other was build last year. There will be a complimentary meal at 6p. The evening will conclude with a program, which will focus on the history of Fergus Falls Habitat, featuring speakers and awards, from 6:45p-7:30p.

This event is outside so attendees are encouraged to dress appropriately for the weather.

A free-will donation will be accepted.

$20 raffle tickets will also be available for purchase at the event on Tuesday night, for the Habitat staff and a couple of board members to come out and work on a house, church or organization project.

Mr. Shol says, “We’re so thankful for the community that we have. I see it every single day in my job. Our organization just doesn’t happen without a whole bunch of people in a variety of ways pitching in.”
