State officials say 28 of Minnesota’s 93 driver’s license exam stations are open again, a total of 43 will be operating by year’s end, and the remaining 50 will re-open by January 31st.
Driver and Vehicle Services Director Pong Xiong says “I also want to empathize with our Minnesotans in Greater Minnesota that do have to travel these distances, and that’s why we’re working so hard at getting these exam stations opened as soon as possible to those pre-pandemic levels.”
Republican Senator Mark Johnson from East Grand Forks says it should never have taken this long to recover from pandemic shutdowns and he’s “not letting up on the throttle” for his constituents.
