You can make a splash by helping to sponsor the Fergus Falls downtown splash pad.  The Fergus Falls Noon Rotary Club is raising funds for the splash pad coming in 2022.  The splash pad is a zero/low entry water feature with other park facilities that is set for construction next year in phase 2 of the Downtown Riverfront Development Project.  The splash pad will be located across the river from City Hall.

Noon Rotarian Brian Tjaden said “To date Noon Rotary has raised over $60,000 towards our goal of $80,000.” Tjaden went on to say “that if we go beyond the goal we can add features that are not in the plan today.”

Sunrise Rotary is sponsoring phase 1 which is currently under construction between Union and Court Street. If you or your business is interested in sponsoring the splash pad you can reach out to Brian Tjaden at brian@hatchrealty.com.

Also tonight (Friday) from 4 to 11 both the Sunrise and Noon Rotary clubs are teaming up with Fergus Brewing Co for Pints for Polio.  Fergus Brewing will donate $1 a beer for the first 100 pints then $2 for every pint thereafter.  Every dollar donated will be matched 2-1 by the Bill and Linda Gates Foundation.

If you would like to become a member of Rotary you can ask a current member or go to their Facebook page.
