FRAZEE (KDLM) – A train derailed near Frazee, Thursday.
The derailment was reported just before 9 a.m. west of Frazee. According to at least one report, one of the trains was parked at the time of the derailment.
Becker County Sheriff Todd Glander says the train was a BNSF train and that no injuries were reported. Crews are taking precautions because of the potential that there was hazardous material on the freight train. Both East and Westbound tracks are blocked.
The Becker County Sheriff’s Office and the Frazee Fire Department were among those who responded to the scene. The incident remains under investigation.
