(Shakopee, MN) — Valleyfair, the Shakopee amusement park, announced they will be eliminating their ValleySCARE and Halloween Haunt celebrations next fall. The park says they are switching to what they call more family friendly Halloween celebrations.
It will be called Tricks and Treats and debut September 17th, running select dates through October 30th.
Instead of the usual haunted mazes and scary zones the park will have different paths for visitors to follow. one will lead to the Land of Tricks and the other to the Land of Treats.
Valleyfair rides, entertainment and food venues all also be open during the Tricks and Treats event.
