List of Area Memorial Day Programs

Fergus Falls Memorial Day Program
The Memorial Day program will be held at 10:00 a.m. at Veterans Park in Fergus Falls. Roll Call of comrades who have passed away in the past year will be given. Representatives of the American Legion, VFW and DAV Auxiliaries will be escorted to the bridge where they will throw flowers into the water to honor those who died at sea.

Deer Creek Memorial Day Program
The Memorial Day program will be held at 10:30 a.m. at the Veteran’s Park in Deer Creek. A free will donation breakfast of pancakes, French toast, egg bake, sausage, coffee, orange juice, and milk will be served at the Deer Creek Community Center, 106 Main Ave E., from 7:30 -10:00 a.m.

Parkers Prairie Memorial Day Program
Legion Baseball Pancake Breakfast (Old Gym) 8:00 a.m.-12:00 a.m.
Memorial Day Program (New Gym) 10:00 a.m.
Color Guard, Taps (Parkers Prairie Cemetery) 1:00 p.m.

Pelican Rapids Memorial Day Program
The Memorial Day program will be held at 10:00 am at the High School Auditorium. They will march from the school to the Veterans Park behind VFW for a ceremony that will commence around 11:00

Perham Memorial Day Program
The Memorial Day program will be held at 9:00 a.m. at St. Stanislaus Catholic Cemetery, 1st Ave. N. in Perham. Attending will be Perham VFW Post 4020 honor guard and Dent American Legion honor guard. In case of inclement weather, services will be held at St. Henry’s Catholic Church in Perham.

Underwood Memorial Day Program
The Memorial Day program will be held at 10 a.m. at the Underwood School, Southern Ave. E., with guest speaker Jordan Rasmusson.
