Three COVID Testing Sites To Begin Offering Treatment As Well

(St. Paul, MN) — Three of the state-run community COVID-19 testing sites will soon also be offering treatments for the virus.

Minnesotans who test positive and are determined to be high-risk will receive a prescription medicine at the same time. The Brooklyn Park site will become a “test and treat” location on Friday — then Moorhead will begin offering COVID treatments Monday followed by Duluth on Tuesday.

The federal government is providing funding, personnel, and the antiviral drug Paxlovid at the three sites. State health officials say additional sites will be added this month.
