(Minneapolis, MN) — The latest polling from MinnPost shows Democratic Governor Tim Walz and his Republican challenger Scott Jensen are “neck-and-neck” in their competition for Minnesota’s highest elective office.
Change Research surveyed 15-hundred likely voters with 42-percent saying they would choose Walz and 40-percent preferring Jensen.
That is within the poll’s margin of error. Jensen has a name recognition problem with 44 percent of the people surveyed saying they hadn’t heard of him.
That problem might be negated by the fact 59-percent of those surveyed say Minnesota is on the wrong track.
