If you are traveling around Fergus Falls this afternoon, you need to be on the lookout for a house that will be on the move. The house will go from the Church of the Naz to the old Eisenhower School building on Channing, that is now owned by Hillcrest.
The move was supposed to start at approximately 1:30 Thursday afternoon but was pushed back to after 3. The move should last about 90 minutes.
Fergus Falls Police Sargent Connor West; “We just caution drivers that if they are traveling the area and see the house move to take an alternate route. There will be an officers assisting with the house move so I could do see the police cars with their overhead emergency lights on just try to take an alternate route or detour around the house move.”
From the Naz the house will come down Cleveland and turn East onto Fir Avenue, traveling to Friberg near the YMCA. It will take a right on Friberg will then pass through the area of Kennedy Secondary School and the community Ice Arena eventually coming to the intersection of Friberg and Lincoln. Where it will then turn left onto Lincoln where it then turns into Sheridan. Continue South on Sheridan to Channing where it will head east on Channing and end up at the old Eisenhower Building now the Hillcrest property.
