(Duluth, MN) — Around 250 members of the Duluth-based 148th Fighter Wing are back home from a four-month deployment to Saudi Arabia.
Vice Commander Colonel Curt Grayson says the airmen flew over 700 sorties, which included over 44-hundred hours of combat sorties with their Duluth-based F-16’s.
Many of the members maintained the planes, equipment, and weapons. The airmen were welcomed home by family and friends Wednesday and Thursday.
