Looney Days 2022

Looney Days is happening from Friday, August 12th through Sunday, August 14th in Vergas.

This yearly event gives attendees a chance to eat, shop, play games, listen to music and more.

Friday will feature a number of activities. This includes sidewalk chalk art from 10a-5p, pickle ball demonstrations from 10a-11a and kids fishing from 3:30p-4:30p.

Saturday will be full of family fun as well. People can participate in 5k Run/Walk (registration at 7am), experience a street fair from 9a-4p, check out the Little Miss/Mr. Vergas Pageant at Noon, enjoy the street dance from 8p-midnight and more.

Looney Days 2022 closes out on the 14th with a variety of activities including a classic car show from 9a-noon, the grand parade at 2pm, water fights after the parade on Main Street, and live music.

Parking will be available throughout the city and at Hanson’s Field and St. John’s Church. There will be limited parking at Long Lake Park (mainly will be used for drop off).

Free will donations will be accepted on both Friday and Saturday at Loon Park to help with future park projects.
