Voting for Round Two of the Hometown Challenge is Open

Real Rock Z103 and KJ Country 96.5 are continuing to celebrate towns in West Central Minnesota with the Hometown Challenge powered by Olson Oil.

The first round ended on Friday (August 12th) and the results are in. Eight towns remain in the official bracket. They are Fergus Falls (defeated Detroit Lakes in round one by 65 votes), Elbow Lake (defeated Wahpeton in round one by 25 votes), Battle Lake (defeated Breckenridge in round one by 75 votes), Erhard (defeated Henning in round one by 27 votes), Ottertail (defeated Rothsay in round one by 39 votes), Pelican Rapids (defeated Ashby in round one by 8 votes), Underwood (defeated Elizabeth in round one by 10 votes) and Perham (defeated Vergas in round one by 23 votes).

The matchups for round two, which people can vote on through this Friday (August 19th), are Fergus Falls vs. Elbow Lake, Battle Lake vs. Erhard, Ottertail vs. Pelican Rapids and Underwood vs. Perham.

Towns will continue to go head to head and get voted on from now through September 1st to determine the eventual winner.
