Motorcycle Fatalities up across Minnesota

By McLovin Aug 19, 2022 | 8:22 AM

(KDLM) – Motorcycle deaths have surpassed last year’s total at this time.

Minnesota Motorcycle Safety Coordinator Jay Bock says there is much more riding season ahead and we can all do our part, “Safety margins for motorcyclists, looking at the size of a motorcycle judging its speed since it’s smaller it doesn’t look like it’s going as fast as they are so they close those gaps pretty quickly.”

At last check there have been 51 motorcycle deaths, this compares to 48 at this time in 2021.
