DETROIT LAKES (KDLM) – The 4th Annual Detroit Lakes Craft Beer Tour Presented by Builders FirstSource returned to the Washington Ballpark, Saturday.
More than 100 craft beers were available to sample at the event from craft breweries across the region, including Bemidji Brewing, Revelation Ale Works, Jack Pine and Bucks Mill Brewing, the new Detroit Lakes brewery.
Beer fans were able to vote for their favorite beers and breweries at the event.
Talking Waters, located in Montevideo, MN won the Brewer’s Cup award for their Fruited Sour, Beach Bum, while Wild Terra Cider out of Fargo took home the Best Non-beer award for their Peach Lemonade, “This is our first award and first time at the festival so we’re super excited,” said Breezy Hennings from Wild Terra Cider.
Fish Dream Brewing, a home brewer took home the Best Beer award with their Dreaming of a White Chocolate Christmas beer.
Meanwhile, beer fans at the event voted Half Brothers the Best Brewery at the event on Saturday.
