The community is encouraged to attend ‘Make a Splash Fergus Falls’ tonight (Thursday, September 1st ) from 5p-8p at the Riverfront Pavilion in Spies Park in Fergus Falls.
This free get together, happening during the downtown Late Til 8. It will be a fundraising effort to help kick off Phase 2 of the city of Fergus Falls’ downtown riverfront development plan.
It was inspired by the support and celebration seen at the end of Phase 1, during the city’s 150th anniversary event.
According to the ‘Make a Splash Fergus Falls’ Facebook event page, the goal of this event is to “re-frame the narrative from scarcity to possibility, expand community engagement, and strengthen cross-sector relationships.”
The event will feature live music, food trucks, a pop-up Splash Pad, plus…
* Live music (Ty Stortroen and Todd Biederman)
* Kids sparkle tattoos
* Kids wacky hair booth
* Story Walk with the Fergus Falls Public Library
* Free freezie pops and books for kids thanks to Otter Risers Kiwanis
* Otter Cove Pop-Up Activity Tent
