(Minneapolis, MN) — The most recent data shows in 2020, 723 Minnesotans lost their lives to suicide — about two people per day.
Doctor Dan Reidenberg, Executive Director of Minnesota-based SAVE (Suicide Awareness Voices of Education) says they see people as young as five to ten years old — and people well into their 80’s — committing suicide.
September is Suicide Awareness Month.
Reidenberg says suicide is a complex problem that’s usually influenced by multiple things going on in a person’s life.
