(St. Paul, MN) — Beginning today (Fri), Minnesotans can vote by mail or in person in the November Eighth general election. You can apply for an absentee ballot on the Minnesota Secretary of State’s website — be sure to carefully follow directions for mailing it back, and it must be received by Eight P-M on Election Day.
You can also drop off your absentee ballot in person by Three P-M on Election Day at the office that sent it to you, not at your polling place.
Early voting in person is another option — check with local officials for location and hours.
You can register to vote right there if you bring proof of residence.
To register to vote at the polls on Election Day, you’ll need proof of residence and I-D.
