Gunpowder Bar to Open in Downtown Fergus Falls

(Fergus Falls, Minn.) – Greater Fergus Falls (GFF) is privileged to announce that GunPowder, a whiskey and cocktail bar, will soon open where the former ‘The Spot Panini & Wine Bar’ was once located. This new business will offer a full bar with high-end options as well as light fare and daily specials. Located at 220 W. Lincoln Ave, Gunpowder will host a soft opening Friday, October 14th and Saturday, October 15th with lunch specials starting at 11 am.

Owner Blue Kunz recently relocated to Lakes Country from the Iowa/Illinois area and brought her successful hybrid cocktail model with her. Her expertise coupled with her passion for creating cocktails and serving her patrons will bring a new experience to Fergus Falls. In addition to an expansive whiskey and bourbon collection, GunPowder will offer over 200 cocktail combinations, light fare to include pulled pork sandwiches, and rotating daily menus.

As a new member to the community as well as the State of Minnesota, Kunz leveraged free and confidential assistance provided by GFF. Through site selection, permitting, and general technical assistance, Kunz ultimately decided to sell her existing bar in Iowa and open a new bar in Fergus Falls.
