(Wahpeton, ND) — A man is dead after a shooting outside an ice arena across the border in Wahpeton, Monday night.
Officers found the wounded man near the Ella Stern & Harry Stern Sports Arena and began life-saving measures, but the victim died at a hospital in Breckenridge.
The incident is believed to be “isolated” and there’s no current danger to the general public.
Police are asking people who live in the area to check home security cameras for anything suspicious.
