Giving Hearts is a 24-hour giving event for nearly 550 charities across Northwest Minnesota and North Dakota.
The City of Fergus Falls’ businesses that are part of Giving Hearts include: A Wife Like Me, Health Resources Center, Inspiration Point Christian Camp & Retreat Center, Lake Region Hospital Foundation, LB Homes, and Lutheran Brethren Seminary, Hillcrest Lutheran Academy, and Freedom Resource Center.
They are all working together to help raise money for the Giving Hearts Charity.
Giving Hearts Day encourages the public to find a charity to love, and the excitement of this event helps charities elevate awareness and cultivate donor relationships.
Giving Hearts Day has helped thousands of people from hundreds of area charities better tell their mission story, promote online giving, and lead conversations with donors, preparing them for a one-day “home run” and giving them a fundraising system, they can use all year long.
They’ve learned a whole system for attracting donors, building a sustaining donor base, and raising major gifts. Anyone with a debit or credit card and access to the internet can donate.
Eight charities coming together to make a difference in the Fergus Falls community.
