Yesterday afternoon, Wadena Sheriffs’ Office shared on their Facebook Page congratulated one of their own.
Richard Ziegler works for the Wadena County Sheriff’s Office in the dispatch and jail and is finishing his schooling to become a peace officer.
Rich is pictured with Sheriff Carr, who presented Rich with the scholarship on behalf of the Sheriff’s Association.
The Minnesota Sheriffs’ Association has announced the Awardees of their scholarship program for 2022.
The association awards scholarships each year to individuals planning to become Minnesota peace officers.
The applicants seeking scholarships apply through their local Sheriffs’ Offices.
This year, the scholarship committee chose 22 awardees.
Then Minnesota Sheriffs’ Association scholarship program, which is promoted by the 87 Sheriffs of Minnesota, is pleased to announce the Following awardees:
