Shortly after midnight Monday morning, the Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a stabbing at the Rothsay Truck Stop, just off of I-94.
When they arrived they found a 42-year-old female suffering from a stab wound. She would be transported to a local hospital with what is believed to be non-life threatening injuries.
52-year-old John Fogleman of Rothsay, was later arrested for charges of second degree assault and domestic assault. The Sheriff’s office said that the parties are known to each other ant there is no risk to the public.
The Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Wilkin County Sheriff’s Office, The Pelican Rapids Police Department, Rothsay Rescue, and the Pelican Rapids Ambulance.
