The Northern Minnesota Robotics Conference (NMRC) and the Minnesota Robotics Coaches Association (MRCA) have announced the regional high school students selected for the 2023 Minnesota State All-Academic Team.
This program recognizes the academic excellence of students participating in the Minnesota State High School League (MSHSL) Robotics programs based on their GPA.
To be eligible for All-Academic State Honors, students must have a cumulative GPA of 3.8 or higher, be important contributors to their teams, and have no MSHSL violations in the current or previous year.
The NMRC is composed of 31 teams, 28 of which are based in Minnesota and eligible for this award.
This year, the Fourth Annual All-State Academic Team features 73 students from 15 different teams.
Both the NMRC and the MRCA are excited to celebrate the outstanding academic achievements of these students.
From Fergus Falls, Team 3293, the Otter Bots from Fergus Falls Kennedy High School, with three students were recognized for their academic excellence: Logan Bredenberg, Braden Bucher, and Swanson Olivia.
Other teams with students honored include: Team 2503, Warrior Robotics from Brainerd High School, Team 3102 (The Tech-No-Tigers), Team 3134 (The Accelerators), Team 3294 (Backwoods Engineers), Team 3297 (Full Metal Jackets), Team 3313 (Mechatronics), Team 4480 (UC-Botics), Team 4623 (Flyer Robotics), Team 4674 (RoboJacks), Team 5172 (Gator Robotics), Team 5913 (Patriotic), Team 6132 (Ranger Robotics), Team 6453 (BogBots), and Team 7677 (Bodacious Bulldogs).
