Fergus Falls Area Family YMCA is hosting the 9th Annual Bike Rodeo & YMCA Healthy Kids Day today from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm at their location on 1164 Friberg Ave.
This is a fun-filled free event with activities, games, and safety lessons that aim to educate children from kindergarten through eighth grade about bike safety and promote overall health and wellness.
Attendees can expect a wide range of activities, including a bike checkup station, safe biking skills lessons, and engaging obstacle courses.
Children are encouraged to bring their own bikes and helmets, but those without a helmet will be provided one free of charge.
In addition to the bike-related events, the YMCA has planned various other activities to keep everyone entertained.
A bounce house will be set up for children to enjoy, and the fire department is scheduled to make an appearance.
The Riverside Lions Club will also be offering free vision screenings as part of their community outreach efforts.
National Healthy Kids Day at the Fergus Falls YMCA is open to the public and free of charge, ensuring that everyone in the community has the opportunity to participate.
The two-hour event is designed to encourage children and their families to embrace a healthy and active lifestyle while having fun and learning valuable safety skills.
