(Kensington, MN) – A ski resort in west central Minnesota is setting some state records.
Brothers Paul and Vern Anderson put on their skis and hit Andes Tower Hills in Kensington one last time on May 1st.
Owner Tom Anderson says the chair lift was in action Monday which is required for the late season record. Anderson says, “If you can have some snow that’s attached to a lift that brings you up to the top of the hill so you can go up and come back down, then that’s for the record books.
So, when we opened up on October 18th that was for the record books because we had a lift attached to it.”
Anderson says the ski season at Andes Tower Hills ran a record 195 days this season.
