Pelican Rapids Man Dies in Accident

At approximately 9:17 Wednesday night, the Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to a single motor vehicle accident in the 48000 block of 155^th Ave in Scambler Township.

Information reported to dispatch was that an adult is believed to be deceased at the scene.

After responders arrived on the scene, it was determined that the driver a 65-year-old adult male, from Pelican Rapids, was deceased.

The driver was sole occupant of the vehicle.

The name of the victim is being withheld at this time pending family notification.

The Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Clay County Sheriff’s Office, the Minnesota State Patrol, the Pelican Rapids Police Department, and Ringdahl Ambulance.
