Look out for Sasquatch holding a soup bowl as the Lone Pine Soup Co. rolls into the neighborhood.
Locals in Fergus Falls and Otter Tail County are in for a tasty treat as Lone Pine Soup Co., a new food truck venture, comes to town.
Owners Lisa and Dino Olivieri are set to host a grand opening on Saturday, May 13th at Spies Park, coinciding with the 2023 Fergus Falls Farmers Market season opener.
The idea for the food truck blossomed from a casual campfire conversation.
The Olivieri’s vision centered around having fun, making a modest profit, and participating in enjoyable events.
After conducting extensive research, the couple chose to create a food trailer with a distinctive menu.
“We came up with a bistro-style menu that will include soups, pasta salads, wraps, and sandwiches,” shared Lisa Olivieri.
Greater Fergus Falls (GFF) played a pivotal role in helping the Olivieri’s bring their food truck dream to life.
The couple utilized GFF’s free and confidential one-on-one consulting services for their start-up needs.
They also credit their coach, Beth, a former food truck owner, for her invaluable advice and motivation.
Patricia Wahl from GFF expressed her excitement about the new venture, saying,
“It is great to see another entrepreneur bringing their idea to fruition and launching their business in Fergus Falls.
A new food truck in our community will not only be well received but appreciated by having unique options, setting them apart from others.”
