Dahlia’s Downtown Boutique to Celebrate Their Grand Opening

(Fergus Falls, Minn.) – Greater Fergus Falls (GFF) is privileged to announce that Dahlia’s Downtown Boutique has opened its doors for business. Owner Melissa Weispfennig plans to host her grand opening on Friday, May 19th through Saturday, May 20th at 109 W. Lincoln Avenue in downtown Fergus Falls. Enjoy light refreshments, discounts, and a $100 gift card giveaway during the celebration.

Melissa and her husband prayed a lot about it and decided to move forward with their business idea to open the store in Fergus Falls, MN. They decided on Fergus Falls because Melissa was born and raised in Fergus Falls and still have family here and in the surrounding areas. When they moved back to the area in 2020, they noticed how many changes there had been in Fergus Falls and became excited about all the improvements the city had been making and were continuing to work towards. They felt like there was already a good start with the boutiques that are here and that by opening another boutique in the area it could only help to increase the traffic to Fergus Falls and make it more of a shopping destination that people come to for an outing or shopping and dining experience.

“My vision for this boutique has been based on everything I love about fashion and I really enjoy trying to catch the new trends and styles as soon as they become popular.” Weispfenning went on to say, “I’m very excited to meet new people in the area that share a similar love of clothes, getting to make new friends in the process, and learning how I can best serve the area of Fergus Falls through this new business.”

GFF’s Patricia Wahl said, “We have seen wonderful things transform over the past few years with new businesses, retail, and restaurants coming to our downtown landscape. Dahlia’s Downtown Boutique will be a welcoming addition.”
