The West Otter Tail County Fair is thrilled to present The Mighty Thomas Carnival, running from July 19th to July 22nd, 2023.
The carnival promises to cater to all fair-goers, whether you are a thrill-seeker looking for that adrenaline rush, or a family searching for some old-fashioned fun.
With a wide selection of rides and games, plus a variety of food options, the Thomas Carnival is a must-visit attraction.
Advance Ride Tickets will be on sale from July 5th to July 18th, 2023.
These tickets can be purchased at Service Food, the Fair Grounds Office, or Larry’s Super Market in Pelican for $22.
Not only do these vouchers grant you access to the rides, but they can also be used for the special Buddy Night offer.
Mark your calendars for Buddy Night on Thursday, July 20th, 2023. From 4:00 PM until 11:00 PM, when you buy one wristband on the Midway, you’ll receive another one for free.
This special deal provides a fantastic opportunity for friends and families to enjoy the fair together, making the most of the exciting Midway Carnival.
The daily admission cost is set at $10.00 per vehicle, providing access to the wide range of exhibits and activities on offer.
For those who wish to make multiple visits over the course of the fair, season passes are available.
Individuals can purchase a season pass for $25.00, while a season vehicle pass, perfect for families or groups, is available for $40.
Please note that admission fees will be collected at the following times: on Wednesday from 4 PM until 11 PM, and from 11 AM until 11 PM on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.
Whether it’s the DNR Wildlife Building, the Children’s Barnyard, 4-H Livestock Exhibits, or the Open Class Exhibits, there’s something for everyone.
Attendees can also delight in the assortment of classic fair foods from Hansen’s Amusement Foods, or support West Otter Tail County 4-H at their Food Stand.
In addition to the many exhibits and attractions, the West Otter Tail County Fair is also presenting a series of grandstand events.
The fun kicks off on Wednesday with “Touch a Truck” at 6:00 PM. This interactive event is absolutely free, offering kids and adults alike the opportunity to get up close and personal with a variety of vehicles.
Thursday features two exciting events.
Gear up for a thrilling Demo Derby at 7:00 PM, where drivers will compete in a destruction-filled spectacle.
Following that, attendees can unwind with a free concert by Tripwire at the Park Region Outdoor Stage at 6:00 PM.
The concert is included with your paid gate admission.
The energy continues into Friday with a Tractor Pull at 7:00 PM.
The entrance fee for adults is $10, and $5 for children 10 and under.
As the sun sets, head over to the Park Region Outdoor Stage at 7:00 PM for a free concert by Cruise Control. Again, this concert is included with your paid gate admission.
The grand finale on Saturday is the T & C Bulls, Broncs and Barrels event at 7:00 PM.
