Police are investigating a vehicle break-in that occurred on the night of July 7, 2023, in Fergus Falls, Minnesota.
The theft reportedly took place between 7:30 and 11:00 at night at 911 E Lincoln Ave.
The complainant, contacted law enforcement late that night to report that his daughter’s vehicle had been unlawfully entered and a number of valuable items stolen.
The stolen items included a dark brown Louis Vuitton bag containing perfume, makeup, miscellaneous jewelry, a wallet, and a Tennessee ID card.
Complainant also informed the authorities of an attempted fraudulent activity using a stolen Cash App card at a local Clitherall gas station around 11:06 p.m. that same night.
Law enforcement has already identified a suspect in connection with the case.
According to police report, a long-form complaint is to be issued against the suspect for theft, motor vehicle tampering, and financial card fraud.
The police have also reported the recovery of the stolen property.
Details of the suspect’s identity have yet to be released to the public as the investigation is still ongoing.
