(Fargo, ND) — Large numbers are expected this afternoon (Wednesday 1pm, doors open at 11) at Scheel’s Arena in Fargo for a celebration of life to honor slain Officer Jake Wallin.
Mayor Tim Mahoney says” they have a lot of space for the public to come in, and so you’ll see our police force, our firemen, on the floor.
There’ll be videos running of Jake Wallin and what he did.” An hour-and-a-quarter before the celebration of life begins, a law enforcement procession will leave Fargo Police headquarters and make its way to the arena where first responders and the public will honor Officer Wallin and his service.
The Fargo Police Department is giving a blue memorial ribbon to all those attending today’s service.
