“Where to Eat” Episode 3 – Union Avenue Bar & Eatery

Zakk Daniels had the pleasure of trying the owner and staff’s top recommendation –
Truffle pasta, with the addition of Beef short Rib
The truffle Pasta make with hand-made fresh pasta noodles, a delicious Wild Mushrooms, with a savory, creamy Parmesan cream sauce, with truffle oil, and a balsamic reduction.
With a little side of the short rib demi-glaze for a little tasty kick when desired. The Beef Short Rib was fork tender, juicy and full of flavor.
Dave Bishop, the co-host of “Where to Eat,” went with the patron favorite recommendation –
Beef short Rib Ravioli
The Short Rib Ravioli’s were hand-made fresh pasta raviolis filled full with rich Ricotta, and the dish also boasted a mushroom cream, Parmesan, basil oil, with crispy onions to top the dish.
Even the side of bread was made perfectly light crisp and flakey.
and both Dave and Zakk also went with the recommended addition of a pizza –
Little Miss Piggy
The Little Miss Piggy Pizza was fire roasted, had a red sauce, bacon, pepperoni, sausage, Canadian bacon all on fresh made hand tossed made to order dough.
Throughout their visit, the atmosphere at the Union Avenue Bar & Eatery was inviting with a warm ambiance, both indoors and on the patio under the beautiful pergola.
While loyal customers will be pleased to find the continued offering of the amazing wood-fired pizza that put the restaurant on the map, the menu has also undergone a pretty tasty transformation.
