(St. Paul, MN) — Minnesota reached its highest number of jobs on record at three-million-one-thousand-300. Between September and October, the state gained 7,000 jobs, outpacing national job growth, according to numbers released today by the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED).
Over-the-month job growth was led by big gains in the Education and Health Services, Professional & Business Services, and Leisure & Hospitality sectors.
The state’s unemployment rate currently sits at 3.2% this compares to the national jobless rate of 3.9%
