This past Saturday, the Fergus Falls Downtown Riverfront Council brought holiday cheer to the community with the Over the River Holiday Festival.

The event featured shopping, food, and festivities that left attendees in high spirits.

The day began with Santa’s arrival at the local airport at 10:30 am.

From there, Santa made his way to the Springboard for the Arts, where families had the opportunity to meet him from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm.

The festival also offered food trucks, local retail deals and activities, and a photo booth, capturing memories until 5:00 pm.

This year, the festival introduced carriage rides starting from the Kaddatz Galleries.

Running from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm, these rides provided a delightful way for attendees to experience the holiday charm of Fergus Falls.

The Kaddatz Galleries also hosted the Art & Artisan Market, creating a space for local artists and artisans to showcase their talents.

There was also ornament making at the Kaddatz Galleries.

Attendees had the chance to explore unique gifts and festive decorations and much more all Saturday.

It truly was a full day of festivities at the Over the River Holiday Festival.

The community’s excitement reached a peak at 5:30 pm with the tree lighting ceremony at Wright Park.

The town gathered to witness the illumination of a grand Christmas tree, casting a warm and festive glow.

To cap off the evening, a fireworks display lit up the night sky, providing a dazzling finale to the festivities.
