I believe the Fergus Falls FFA excels in having all of our members involved in a contest area or chapter activity in some fashion throughout the school year. Last year we had 9 teams competing at the State FFA Convention and one at the National FFA Convention (Ag Mechanics). This year so far we have 6 teams or individuals qualify for the State contests and we are just over half way through our season. This year we also have 4 members applying for their State FFA Degree and two applying for becoming a Region 3 FFA officer.
Upcoming fundraisers: We are currently running a Strawberry Sales fundraiser but that will end Feb. 8th. Otherwise we are always looking for sponsors for awards at our annual FFA Banquet.
How to join: Anyone in grades 7-12 can join the Fergus Falls FFA. They would need to call the school and talk to Melody Lundquist or Dennis Wutzke
The Fergus Falls FFA Floriculture team competed at the Region 3 Contest. Clara Stephan qualified as an individual for the State contest by placing 4th overall in the Region.
