Brandon, MN (KXRA) — The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office says that they received a call about a large fire in Brandon Township that was starting to spread in the yard, and was getting close to someone’s house on Tuesday morning.
The Brandon Fire Department was called in and upon arrival, proceeded to put out the fire in the yard and the flames that had started to consume the home.
Ultimately the fire was put out.
No injuries were reported.
Officials say the fire claimed a large portion of the home.
The fire is not under suspicion or malicious intent.
The Douglas County Sheriff’s office was assisted by the Brandon Fire Department and North Ambulance.
