The owners of the Hotel 8, Maya Goldstein and Imran Khan, have acquired the Fergus Inn on Western Avenue.
In a Facebook post, they say, “Just as we’ve poured our heart and soul into enhancing the experience at Hotel 8, we’re committed to bringing the same level of excellence to Fergus Inn.”
They have already begun to make changes to the hotel, like making the hotel pet-friendly, offering new rates, and offering dynamic pricing packages for transitional housing.
They will be continuing to remodel the rooms in the Hotel 8, while adding remodeling for Fergus Inn to their “to-do list” and running the buildings as sister hotels.
Maya and Imran say, “This property is a true gem and has served the local community for many years. There is so much opportunity for growth and improvement here. We cannot wait to start, and we welcome all your ideas!”
The Fergus Falls Chamber of Commerce will be holding a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for them at the hotel on March 26th at noon.
