On Friday March 29th, a woman reported to police that an employee of Pizza Ranch had stolen her purse.
The Fergus Falls Police Department investigated the security footage, which showed 33-year-old Cody Battern leaving the building with the customer’s purse wrapped in a coat.
Battern was later arrested and is being charged with Gross Misdemeanor Theft and is currently at the Otter Tail County Detention Facility.
Pizza Ranch in Fergus Falls has declined to comment at this time.
