Arrest Made in West Fargo in Connection with Alexandria Bank Robbery

Alexandria, MN (KXRA) – The Alexandria Police Department says an arrest has been made in the armed robbery investigation at Bremer Bank.

The incident took place at Bremer Bank last Thursday.

Officials say that 49-year-old Victor Wallace of West Fargo was apprehended in West Fargo, ND, on Friday.

Continued leads from the public and collaboration between multiple agencies led to the identification and arrest of the suspect in this case.

Video surveillance provided by local businesses and personal residences played a crucial role in identifying and locating the suspect and the vehicle used.

In connection with the arrest, search warrants for the vehicle and a residence in West Fargo, were executed by members of the West Fargo Police Department and the Cass County North Dakota Drug Task Force, which includes members of the North Dakota Bureau of Criminal Investigation, Fargo Police Department, Cass County ND Sheriff’s Office, and Alexandria detectives.

The search warrants produced corroborating evidence connected to the robbery in Alexandria.

The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, West Central MN Drug and Violent Crimes Task Force, and Federal Bureau of Investigation also assisted the agency in this case.
