Motorcycle Accident West of Alexandria Leaves Rider Injured

Alexandria, MN – At around 1:05 on Saturday afternoon (May 18th), officials responded to a collision between a motorcycle and a pickup truck just west of Alexandria.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, the pickup truck was travelling west on Highway 27 when it stopped in the lane, waiting for other vehicles in front of it to turn.

The motorcycle was also heading west, and collided with the pickup near East Lake Mary Road.

The operator of the motorcycle, 23-year-old Chester Hoffman of Kensington, suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Alexandria Hospital for treatment.

The driver of the pickup was unharmed.

North Ambulance and the Douglas County Sheriff’s Department assisted on the scene.
