St. Paul, MN – Minnesota has become only the second state in the U.S. to legalize flying cars.
A provision in the recently signed transportation bill carves out a place for “roadable aircraft,” described as airplanes “that can be driven to and from an airport or landing strip.”
The provision was hailed by a company that makes a street-legal airplane that can fly up to 500 miles on a single tank of gas.
New Hampshire passed a similar bill in 2020.
