Grey Eagle, MN – At around 1:30 on Saturday afternoon (May 25th), State Troopers responded to a motorcycle accident in Grey Lake Township, Northeast of Sauk Centre.
According to the state report, 44-year-old Michael Zimmerman of Alexandria and his passenger, 42-year-0ld Mandy Hanneman of Fergus Falls, were travelling east on Highway 28, when Zimmerman lost control of the bike and crashed.
Both occupants were transported to Long Prairie Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
It is believed that alcohol was involved in the accident, and neither occupant was wearing a helmet.
The Minnesota State Patrol was assisted by the Todd County Sheriff’s Office, Grey Eagle Fire and Rescue, Lifelink, and CentraCare Ambulance.
