Alexandria Police Requesting Public’s Help in ATM Robbery

Alexandria, MN (KXRA) – The Alexandria Police Department is asking for help from the public.

Officials are asking if anyone or any business can check their video surveillance between 3a.m.- 4a.m. early Wednesday for a white stolen truck and an SUV that were involved in an incident involving an ATM machine.

Early Wednesday morning, Alexandria police responded to 22nd Avenue/S. Broadway Street.

Upon arrival, officers found an ATM machine that had been removed from its original location and money had been removed.

Further investigation revealed a stolen white pickup truck out of Hutchinson, and an SUV were involved.

The stolen truck reportedly was left at the scene and the suspects were picked up in the SUV.

Officials say the suspects were wearing masks over their faces, and they left east bound on 22nd Avenue towards Pioneer Road.

If anyone from the public observed any suspicious activity near the above location, please call the Alexandria Police Department and report it.

The investigation continues and further information will be released as it is discovered.
