Shiann Erickson and Rosa Garza (Clay County Correctional Facility)
Moorhead, MN – 21-year-old Shiann Erickson and 24-year-old Rosa Garza have been booked into the Clay County Correctional Facility for Second Degree Murder Without Intent charges.
On March 18th, 2024, the Moorhead Police Department began investigating the death of 3-year-old Easton Deronjic after a medical call of a child not breathing at a home on Belsly Boulevard.
Officials say the investigation has been ongoing, and autopsy results were recently received.
The Clay County Attorney’s Office issued warrants for the arrests, and both were taken into custody Monday morning without incident.
Easton’s younger sibling remains in protective custody.
