The Richland County Sheriff’s Office successfully located a missing woman in her 30s on Wednesday,
July 17th, following multiple reports and a concerning Facebook Live Stream.
The collaborative effort involved the Sisseton Wahpeton Tribal Police, North Dakota Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI), Red River Regional Dispatch, and Richland County Communications.
Family members and friends of the missing woman alerted authorities after viewing a Facebook Live Stream that suggested she was in distress.
Law enforcement officials quickly accessed the livestream, which provided crucial information leading deputies to a residence in Lidgerwood, North Dakota.
Thanks to the prompt and coordinated response, the missing woman was found safe and has since been reunited with her family.
Authorities have not disclosed further information at this time.
